They are to be a strong advocate of their related career field, and passionate about transferring the knowledge and experience they have gained to instruct, mentor, and prepare Meridian Community College students for the workforce.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, mentor, and prepare students for careers in dental assisting.
• Advocate for the dental assisting profession within the college and community.
• Demonstrate teamwork, interpersonal communication, confidentiality, and customer service skills.
• Utilize computers and technology effectively in instruction.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and community members.

Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• Maintain educational qualifications, certifications, and/or licensures as required by the Dental Assisting Program.
• A minimum of three years of work experience as a dental assistant or dental hygienist with assisting experience.
