Dental Assistant (PT)

Carol Stream Dental Associates is seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Dental Assistant (DA) to join our team! Work closely with our dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to patients and perform light administrative duties. Our small team is cross-trained to help in every department.

About the role

Join a dedicated team that includes one lead dentist, one office manager, one full-time lead front desk coordinator, three registered dental hygienists, and two full-time dental assistants.

Responsibilities

• Chairside dental assisting with a wide range of general dentistry procedures
• Sterilization protocols to OSHA regulations
• Computer efficiency—charting and scheduling
• Build lasting relationships with teammates and patients

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Coronal Polish/Sealant Certification preferred but not required
• CPR certification
• Excellent communication skills
• Integrity-focused work ethic
• Team-player attitude
• Ability to multi-task
• Open-minded to new systems/techniques, direction, and feedback

Schedule

Approximately 20 hours per week, Monday–Thursday.

Pay

$18–$22 per hour.
