About the role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Dental Assistant (DA) to join our small, cross-trained team. You will work closely with our dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to patients and perform light administrative duties. If you have a positive attitude, love dentistry, and enjoy working with fun professionals, we would love to have you on our team!
Our dedicated team includes:
- One Lead Dentist (experienced)
- One Associate Dentist
- One Periodontist
- One Office Manager
- Two FT Lead Front Desk Coordinators
- Two FT Registered Dental Hygienists (a few temps on call)
- Two FT Dental Assistants
- One FT Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Schedule
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Additional days may become available
Responsibilities
- Chairside dental assisting with a wide range of general dentistry procedures
- Sterilization protocols to OSHA regulations
- Computer efficiency—charting and scheduling
- Light administrative duties
Requirements
- X-Ray certification in the state of Ohio (required)
- Coronal Polish/Sealant Certification (preferred but not required)
- High school graduate or equivalent
- CPR certification
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build lasting relationships with teammates and patients
- Integrity-focused work ethic

- Ability to multi-task
- Open-minded to new systems/techniques, direction, and feedback
