Dental Assistant NO nights or Weekends

About the role

We are a mobile dental practice that travels to senior care facilities to provide dental and hygiene services on-site. You will assist the dentist, prepare patients and equipment, follow sterilization protocols, and transport supplies between our storage office and the facilities. Days are typically 8 or 10 hours, Monday to Friday, with early starts at 8:00 AM. Mileage and tolls are reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with dental procedures
• Prepare patients for dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and instruments
• Follow sterilization and safety procedures during all procedures
• Clean, disinfect, and store equipment after use
• Transport equipment and supplies to and from clinic sites in your personal vehicle

Requirements

• Current x-ray certification
• Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience
• Enjoy working with elderly patients; geriatric experience is a plus
• Willing and able to transport equipment in your own personal vehicle (a standard 4-door sedan is sufficient, but an SUV or crossover may be preferable)

Pay

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule

• 8-hour or 10-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday
