Dental Assistant NO Nights or Weekends

About the role

We are a mobile practice that travels to senior care facilities to provide dental and hygiene services on-site. You will be expected to arrive every morning at our storage office as early as 8:00 AM and transport our mobile equipment to a senior care facility. At the end of the day, you will bring the equipment back to the office to be sterilized. Mileage and tolls are reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with dental procedures.
• Prepare the patient for dental procedures.
• Prepare equipment and instruments for use during dental procedures.
• Follow sterilization and safety procedures while assisting in dental procedures.
• Clean, disinfect, and store equipment used during dental procedures.
• Transport equipment and supplies to and from clinic sites.
• Maintain general office upkeep and patient care.

Requirements

• Must hold current x-ray certification with a minimum of 2 years of experience in dental assisting.
• Must enjoy working with elderly patients. Geriatric experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be willing and able to transport equipment in your own personal vehicle. A standard 4-door sedan is large enough, but an SUV or crossover may be preferable.

Pay

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule

• 8-hour or 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
• Part-time and full-time positions available
