Dental Assistant - Multi-Specialty (FT/PT)

About the role

Elmhurst Dental Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time or Part-Time Multi-Specialty Dental Assistant (DA) to join our team. We are a large general and specialty dental practice looking to add an experienced Dental Assistant to support our Specialists. Preferably someone who is comfortable with a fast-paced work environment who has experience with Oral Surgery, Periodontics, Orthodontics, and Endodontics. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentists, specialists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to our patients as well as perform light administrative duties.

Schedule

• Monday 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Tuesday 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Thursday 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Friday 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Every other Saturday 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Compensation

$22–$25 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Requirements

• X-Ray certification in state of Illinois (preferred)
• Coronal Polish/Sealant Certification (preferred but not required)
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Chairside dental assisting with a wide range of general dentistry procedures
• Sterilization protocols to OSHA regulations
• CPR certification
• Computer efficiency – charting and scheduling
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build lasting relationships with teammates and patients
• Integrity-focused work ethic

• Ability to multi-task
• Open-minded to new systems/techniques, direction and feedback
