Louisville Dental Assistant School is hiring a Part-Time Dental Assistant Instructor for our ongoing 12-week hands-on clinical training programs. Located in Louisville, KY 40299 (In-Person). Responsibilities
- Demonstrate chairside procedures and clinical techniques
- Teach radiology fundamentals and safety protocols
- Coach students during hands-on lab practice
- Provide performance feedback and skills assessments
- Maintain infection control and classroom safety standards
- Foster a supportive, structured learning environment
Requirements
- 5+ years of dental assisting or chairside experience
- Active Radiology Certification
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Strong communicator: able to explain clinical procedures clearly to learners with no prior experience
- Able to commute to location(s)
Nice-to-haves: prior teaching or mentoring experience, Dentrix familiarity, leadership background
Schedule
Saturdays, 7:00 am – 6:30 pm (breaks included). Teaching schedule may vary based on morning and/or afternoon class availability.
Pay
$21–$24/hr, depending on experience.
