Lexington Dental Assistant School is hiring a Part-Time Dental Assistant Instructor for our ongoing 12-week hands-on clinical training programs. Location: Lexington, KY 40324 (In-Person). Responsibilities
- Demonstrate chairside procedures and clinical techniques
- Teach radiology fundamentals and safety protocols
- Coach students during hands-on lab practice
- Provide performance feedback and skills assessments
- Maintain infection control and classroom safety standards
- Foster a supportive, structured learning environment
Requirements
- 5+ years of dental assisting or chairside experience (DA, RDA, or EFDA welcome)
- Active Radiology Certification
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Strong communicator: able to explain clinical procedures clearly to learners with no prior experience
- Able to commute to location(s)
- (Nice-to-have) Prior teaching or mentoring experience
- (Nice-to-have) Dentrix familiarity
- (Nice-to-have) Leadership background
Pay
$21–$24/hr, depending on experience
Schedule
Saturdays, 7:00 am – 6:15 pm (breaks included). Note: teaching schedule may vary based on morning and/or afternoon class availability.
