About the Role

Provides comprehensive support in dental procedures, including assisting with surgeries, sedation, and anesthesia. Maintains treatment rooms and equipment, takes and processes radiographs, and manages supplies.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents and faculty during examinations and surgeries
• Prepares treatment areas and monitors patient vital signs
• Communicates pre- and post-operative instructions to patients
• Performs clerical duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling payments, and managing front desk operations
• Ensures sterilization, inventory management, and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant Program with at least two years of relevant experience, or equivalent work experience
• Skilled in assisting with dental surgeries, managing inventory, scheduling, and post-operative care
• Experience in Endodontics is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, dental equipment operation, and sterilization procedures
• Understanding of clinic operations and quality assurance
