About the Role

This position supports our dental program and floats between three dental clinics in Gwinnett:

  • Lawrenceville Health Center (455 Grayson Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA)
  • Norcross Health Center (5030 Georgia Belle Ct, Norcross, GA)
  • Centerville Health Center (3025-B Bethany Church Rd. Snellville, GA)

Responsibilities

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Welcome, prepare, and support patients throughout their visit by providing exceptional customer service and compassionate care.
  • Cooky, answer phones, verify Medicaid and PeachCare eligibility, and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and fellow team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered dental care.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional clinic environment while promoting excellent service and teamwork.
  • Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, infection prevention protocols, and all state and agency regulations.

Clinical Support As Needed:

  • Provide chairside clinical support to dentists during a variety of dental procedures.
  • Prepare, disinfect, sterilize, and organize treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment following infection control and OSHA standards.
  • Capture high-quality diagnostic dental radiographs while ensuring patient safety and radiation protection.
  • Support school-based dental prevention programs by assisting with screenings, cleanings, sealants, and required documentation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience communicating information in a customer service setting are required.
  • PREFERRED: Certified Dental Assistant.
  • At least one year of full time experience working as a dental assistant.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in customer service.
  • Ability to speak English & Spanish (fluency in both).

Required Question
