Dental Assistant (FT)

About the role

Oakhill Dental Associates is seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, enjoy working with a fun professional team, and have experience in chairside dental assisting with a wide range of general dentistry procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to patients
• Perform light administrative duties
• Work in a small team where each member is cross-trained to help in every department

Requirements

• X-Ray certification in state of Michigan preferred
• Crown Polish/Sealant Certification preferred but not required
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Chairside dental assisting with a wide range of general dentistry procedures
• Sterilization protocols to OSHA regulations
• CPR certification
• Computer efficiency - charting and scheduling
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build lasting relationships with teammates and patients
• Integrity-focused work ethic
• Team-player attitude
• Ability to multi-task
• Open-minded to new systems/techniques, direction and feedback

Pay

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
