Dental Assistant (FT)

About the role

Dr. Robert Scheele & Associates, PC are seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Dental Assistant (DA) to join their team. The position involves working closely with dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to patients and performing light administrative duties. The team is small, allowing for cross-training among members.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to patients.
• Perform light administrative duties.
• Work in a small team environment where each member is cross-trained to assist in various departments.

Requirements

• X-Ray certification in the state of Indiana is required.
• DAANCE certification is preferred but not required.
• Coronal Polish/Sealant Certification is preferred but not required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with chairside dental assisting and a wide range of general dentistry procedures.
• Familiarity with sterilization protocols to OSHA regulations.
• CPR certification is required.
• Efficiency in using computers for charting and scheduling.
• Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to build lasting relationships with teammates and patients.
• An integrity-focused work ethic.
• A team-player attitude.
• The ability to adapt to new systems, techniques, directions, and feedback.
