Dental Assistant - EFDA
Role Requirement
This position requires an active Oregon EFDA certification and a minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience. Candidates without an EFDA certification will not be considered.

Pay Range: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour

Experience
- 1–3 years of clinical dental assisting experience (Pediatric experience or Open Dental software experience is a major plus!)

As an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
- Chairside Excellence: Provide high-quality four-handed dentistry alongside our pediatric dentists during clinical procedures.
- Expanded Duties: Place matrix bands, place temporary restorations, and perform other EFDA duties allowed under Oregon regulations.
- Imaging: Take clear, accurate dental radiographs (RHS certification required).
- Patient Experience: Guide children and parents through their appointments, using age-appropriate language to ease anxiety and build confidence.
- Clinical Flow: Prepare, sterilize, and turn over treatment rooms efficiently to maintain a smooth daily schedule.
- Safety Leaders: Maintain perfect compliance with OSHA, CDC, and ADA safety guidelines.
Drug Screen Requirement
This is a safety-sensitive role and requires passing a drug screen. We follow CDC, OSHA, and ADA guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
