Dementia Specialist - Advisor Role

About the role

Neura Health is a nationwide, doctor-led virtual neurology clinic aiming to eliminate barriers between patients and life-changing care. The company provides an all-in-one longitudinal platform integrating cutting-edge technology with specialized expertise to manage neurological diseases. With a mission to transform the referral landscape and reduce average wait times from 276 days to 5 days, Neura is scaling the nation’s largest virtual practice. They are seeking a dementia specialist advisor who is well-versed in evidence-based treatment of dementia, empathetic, compassionate, mission-driven, collaborative, and results-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develop medical guidelines for our dementia care offering
• Create content for our dementia product: intake forms, care plans, and more
• Development of outcomes dashboards
• In future quarters, evaluate and examine patients

Requirements

• MD or DO
• ABPN certification or eligibility in Neurology
• Leadership in the field of behavioral neurology/dementia care
• Interest in telehealth dementia care and product development
• Soft skills: listening, negotiating, decision-making, and leadership

About the Founders

Liz Burstein is the CEO and was previously Head of Product at Maven Clinic, Director of Product at Zocdoc, and Senior Product Lead at LinkedIn. She has fifteen years of experience in the tech industry and extensive knowledge in the health tech domain. Sameer Madan is the CTO and was previously an engineer at Facebook for nine years. At Facebook, Sameer was the technical lead for Live Video and built several well-known products including Facebook Mentions, threaded-ranked comments, and more.
