Dementia Caregiver - What 12hr Day or Overnight Fits Your Life

About the role

Caregiver position for a female client with dementia. Assistance needed with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), meal preparation, medication reminders, and transportation. The client enjoys going outside and requires supervision for safety, as she may attempt to leave the home on her own.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Prepare meals
• Provide medication reminders
• Transport client as needed
• Supervise client for safety, especially when outdoors

Requirements

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience
• Valid CNA, HHA, PCA, or DSP certification (or willingness to train)
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Schedule

• Days: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Overnights: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Pay

$16.00 – $18.00 per hour
