Experienced Dementia Caregiver for 12 Hour Overnights

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Providing compassionate dementia care with patience and respect
• Offering companionship, engagement, and emotional support throughout the evening with dementia-friendly activities
• Supporting mobility, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
• Maintaining a calm and comfortable atmosphere

Requirements

• Helping with activities of daily living
• 10+ years of experience
• Proven track record of providing high-quality care
• Experience with specialized care, such as Dementia or Parkinson's
• A desire for stability, wanting to work with the same client long-term
• Strong organizational & communication skills

Qualifications

• Certifications that are preferred but NOT required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED
• Able to drive the client in their own personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement)
• Cell phone with internet access
