Demand Planning Analyst
Demand Planning
The Demand Analyst is responsible for developing a demand plan, participating in S&OP, and executing a multi-year demand plan to support the business objectives of Revenue, Cost, Cash, and Customer Experience.
Key Duties:
- Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.
- Review historical sales trends and research demand drivers.
- Prepare forecast data and develop statistical forecast models.
- Evaluate forecast results and identify opportunities for improvement.
Global Revenue Modeling
Identify key global supply shortages across the business and calculate total revenue risk tied to shortages, presenting bi-quarterly to executive partners.
Forecast Accuracy
Create and implement processes to achieve best-in-class performance in demand planning.
Demand Stability
Identify practices causing gyration to the supply base and systematically resolve issues.
Inventory
Collaborate with Supply Planning to achieve inventory targets and ensure efficient management of stock levels.
Sales & Operations Planning
Drive alignment with Sales, Finance, Supply, Product, and Engineering teams on the demand plan over a two-year planning horizon.
Preferred Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Knowledge of Oracle Demand Planning or other ERP software preferred.
- Experience with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, and presentation skills.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all teams, areas, and levels of business affecting the forecast process.
Target Base Salary Range
$65,900 - $100,000
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, IT, Management, or Supply Chain.
- 3+ years of experience working in a Demand Planning or Supply Planning environment.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
Preferred Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Knowledge of Oracle Demand Planning or other ERP software preferred.
