Demand Planning Analyst
About The Role
You will be a key stakeholder overseeing the Demand planning and inbound material activities within HARMAN Lifestyle Consumer Audio. You will analyze data to align forecasts with customer service goals and the business's financial plan.
What You Will Do
- Execute scenario planning for current and long-term forecasts required to drive production and inventory planning.
- Proactively alert sales and supply team on changes in Key Account buying patterns by SKU, changes in assortment, to maximize delivery of sales.
- Lead forecasting reviews with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment of inventory plans.
- Lead excess and obsolesces prevention reviews and analyze variances of forecasted items quarterly.
- Facilitate customer SKU allocation.
- Liaison for the supply planning team with other functional teams (Sales, Ops, Logistics, and Marketing) to incorporate market intelligence into the forecasting environment.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or any related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Demand Planning and Data Management, preferably in a fast-paced consumer industry.
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) review.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to articulate assumptions, recommend alternatives, and corrective actions for non-adherence.
What Is Nice To Have
- Work experience with the large retailers is a plus (BBY, Target, Walmart, Amazon, etc.).
- Proficient in SAP/IBP.
- Strong analytical skills, experience working with a large volume of data and performing quantitative analysis.
What Makes You Eligible
- Be willing to travel up to 5%, domestic travel.
- Be willing to work in an office in Northridge, CA (Hybrid work schedule available).
- Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Pay
$ 84,750 - $ 124,300 Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation are also available, such as bonuses or commission. Pay is based on a wide range of factors, including, without limitation, skill set, experience, training, location, and business need.
