Delivery Truck Driver - CDL B

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Absorb and prepare orders for shipment as needed, as well as receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material
• Work overtime as needed
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL
• 2-5 years of commercial truck driving experience preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Warehouse and forklift experience required
• Must be comfortable assisting in the yard and warehouse as needed
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
• Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Pay

The starting pay rate is $28. Pay Range: $20.22 - $32.30. This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
