Delivery Truck Driver - CDL Class B

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload.
• Ensure delivery of tickets with materials.
• Pick up customer returns, validate product matches for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, refuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to the supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Absorb and operate basic technology, including iPads.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class B.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Flatbed operating experience a plus.
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Able to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Skills

• Flatbed operating experience.

Pay

The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements. The role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.

Schedule

M-F 8-hour shift between 6am-4pm (OT possible/hours may vary)
