About the role

The Delivery Technician will work in the warehouse fulfilling customer's orders, as well as making deliveries to customer’s homes in an accurate and timely manner. Including delivery, must be able to set up equipment, adjust equipment to customer needs, instruct customer on the proper and safe use of the equipment and ensure paperwork is signed /filled out accurately. Strong customer service skills are essential, as well as communicating with diverse populations of customers.

Responsibilities

Fulfilling customer’s orders in the warehouse
Making deliveries to customer’s homes
Setting up and adjusting equipment to customer needs
Instructing customers on the proper and safe use of the equipment
Ensuring paperwork is signed /filled out accurately
Checking delivery vehicle to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order
Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations and/or damages to the vehicles
Occasional Saturday work may be required
On-call rotation (7 days) is required every 8-10 weeks

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be 21 years of age to meet auto insurance requirements
Previous delivery experience or customer service experience preferred
Driver history must comply with Sanford Health’s driver qualification standards for insurability
Current valid driver’s license and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category II drivers

Qualifications

Pay

$17.50 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule

Full time, 40.00 weekly hours, 8 Hours - Day Shifts, including an on-call rotation including every other weekend.

Department Details

This is a small, wonderful team working closely with a variety of medical professionals to provide excellent compassionate care. Applicant must be able to work Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm, along with an on-call rotation including every other weekend.
