About The Role
The Delivery Technician delivers, sets up, and picks up durable medical equipment (DME) in patient homes. You will educate patients on basic equipment use and ensure safe operation while providing high‑quality customer service.

Schedule
Wednesday – Saturday, 12:00 PM–10:00 PM
On‑Call Transparency
- On‑call rotation one week a month.
- Rotation runs Monday–Sunday
- Paid an on‑call stipend
- Paid from the moment you leave home for a call
- Overtime paid if on-call causes over 40 hours in the week
- Most callouts occur Saturday night and Sunday daytime
Travel Requirements
Service radius of approximately 50–75 miles from the branch. Most technicians take their trucks home unless they are unable.
Pay
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour. Pay varies based on experience, skills, and location. Eligible for Safe Driver Bonus.
What You’ll Do
- Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily deliveries and setups
- Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes
- Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use
- Offer a high level of customer service and support to patients who may rely on this equipment for life‑sustaining needs
- Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle
- Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed
- Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately
- Maintain supply components in patient profiles
- Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs
- Perform routine vehicle checks
- Support additional duties as assigned
Required
- Ability to lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily deliveries and set-ups
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No experience required!
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license
- Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program
