About the role

Loads trucks and delivers products across the state, ensuring products are delivered to dispensaries with outstanding service in a positive and friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, secure, and professional delivery services.
• Checks and ensures orders are fulfilled and accurately packed for shipment.
• Maintains and safely operates delivery vehicles.
• Uploads documentation of delivery, maintenance, and compliance forms via paper copy or into proper electronic databases.
• Exhibits polite, professional driving etiquette.
• Follows specific routes and adheres to industry-compliant turn-by-turn trip plans.
• Performs basic vehicle maintenance checks (fluids, tires, damage, engine, and body components).
• Maintains a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
• Follows procedures as outlined in onboarding and training.
• Adapts to frequent/last-minute adjustments to daily schedule.
• Drives if needed 8+ hours and covers 500+ miles per day in all weather and road conditions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain a state marijuana badge and pass a background check.
• Valid Driver’s License with excellent, clean driving record; CDL experience preferred.
• Familiarity with computer and mobile routing software and mapping programs to navigate and complete deliveries.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Must be able to communicate with the GDF Team effectively and professionally.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations.
• Ability to work independently and have excellent attendance.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to stay focused.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic; must be a team player with a “can do” attitude.
• Available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work overtime hours and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years commercial driving experience.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
• Sitting 8+ hours each shift, bending, squatting, climbing in and out of vehicle.
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds.
• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
• The ability to work in bright/hot/humid conditions.
• The ability to work in low-light situations.
• Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, push/pull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activity.
• Exposure to limited hazardous chemicals.
