Job Description The Delivery Tech loads trucks and delivers products across the state. This position ensures products are delivered to the Dispensaries with outstanding service in a positive and friendly environment. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Provides prompt, secure, and professional delivery services.Checks and ensures orders are fulfilled and accurately packed for shipment.Maintains and safely operates delivery vehicles.Uploads documentation of delivery, maintenance, and compliance forms via paper copy or into proper electronic databases.Exhibits polite, professional driving etiquette.Follows specific routes and adheres to industry compliant turn-by-turn trip plans.Performs basic vehicle maintenance checks. (Fluids, tires, damage, engine, and body components).Maintains a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.Follows procedures as outlined in onboarding and training.Adapts to frequent/last minute adjustments to daily schedule.Drives if needed 8+ hours and covers 500+ miles per day in all weather and road conditions.Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Must be able to obtain a state marijuana badge and pass a background checkValid Driver’s License with excellent, clean, driving record, CDL experience preferredFamiliarity with computer and mobile routing software and mapping programs to navigate and complete deliveriesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Must be able to communicate with GDF Team effectively and professionally.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situationsAbility to work independently and have excellent attendanceExcellent organizational skillsAbility to stay focusedPositive attitude and strong work ethic. Must be a team player with a “can do” attitudeAvailable to work weekends and holidays as neededReliable transportationAbility to work overtime hours and on-call shifts Education And Experience Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent1+ years commercial driving experience Physical Requirements Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.Sitting 8+ hours each shift, bending, squatting, climbing in and out of vehicleThe ability to respond quickly to soundsThe ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spacesThe ability to see and respond to dangerous situationsThe ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the dayThe ability to work in bright/hot/humid conditionsThe ability to work in low light situationsLifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, push/pull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activityExposure to limited hazardous chemicals At Good Day Farm, we are committed to building a diverse team and an inclusive environment for all.
