Purpose
To make deliveries throughout the district as directed by the transportation and supply supervisor.

Classification of Employment: Non-Exempt
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Forklift experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Valid Kansas commercial drivers license (CDL).
- Experience driving a 21,000 lb. truck desired.
Essential Functions
- Knowledge, Skill and Abilities
- Make deliveries to designated facilities.
- Keep the shipping/receiving area clean and organized at all times.
- Inspect incoming freight for damage.
- Report any damages, shortages or overages in shipments.
- Check in all freight to district facilities with the purchase orders in the secretary's office.
- Cookordinate with secretary on purchase orders.
- Work with others in the department as needed.
- Comply with all district policies, rules and regulations.
Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions
- Must be able to work outdoors in extreme hot or cold weather.
- Must be able to work in the heat both indoors and outdoors.
- Requires prolonged standing and lifting.
- Must be able to operate a forklift and pallet truck along with 2-wheel dolly.
- Must be able to lift heavy boxes on a regular basis.
- Must be capable of operating all vehicles within the department.
- Requires regular attendance and/or physical presence at the job.
General Responsibilities
- Make deliveries throughout the district.
- Load and unload trucks by hand and with other equipment.
- Work well with others in the department and throughout the district.
- Be organized.
- Operate district equipment including vehicles in order to perform assigned tasks.
