Shipping/Receiving Specialist - Level 1 (2nd shift 3pm - 11pm)
About the role
As a Shipping/Receiving Specialist Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in managing the inbound and outbound flow of materials and products, ensuring accurate and timely shipping and receiving operations. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating with various departments, and supporting the overall supply chain process to meet customer and business needs. You will report directly to our Shipping/Receiving Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Palmetto, Florida location on an On-site work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
- Verify delivery against (PO) Purchase order, (ASN) Advanced Shipping Notification, and supplier documentation.
- Stage incoming goods in designated receiving area with clear labeling.
- Verify counts, part numbers / SKUs, quantities, lot numbers, serial numbers, and labeling against the PO and packing slip.
- Create GR transaction in SAP.
- Attach, sign, and retain supplier documents, packing list, certificates per QMS.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities and update inventory systems accordingly.
- Cook with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Experience in shipping and receiving operations within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Experience with SAP systems.
- Goods Receipt (GR) Experience.
- Willingness to learn forklift operation.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in shipping and receiving.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay
The pay for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This role operates on a 2nd shift schedule from 3:00pm – 11:00pm Monday – Friday.
