Delivery Router and Warehouse - Milwaukee

About the role

At Viking Electric you’ll help ensure timely and efficient product delivery while supporting warehouse operations and maintaining high standards of customer service. This is an onsite, full-time role based in Milwaukee, WI with a Monday–Friday start at 3:30 am.

Responsibilities

• Optimize daily delivery routes by analyzing order volume and territory coverage.
• Monitor delivery activity throughout the day and adjust routes or resources as needed.
• Coordinate with drivers and operations to ensure on-time delivery performance.
• Support sales teams with special delivery requests.
• Assist warehouse team with picking, checking, and loading trucks.
• Track and manage weekly/monthly mileage reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve routing efficiency and overall operations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of warehouse, transportation, or logistics experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organization abilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse systems (WMS a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in Business, Logistics, or Distribution preferred.

Physical & Work Environment

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and move throughout a warehouse environment.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Work in a fast-paced warehouse with varying temperatures and moderate noise levels.
• May operate powered industrial equipment (training provided where applicable).

Pay

Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $27.00 per hour, including a short-term incentive bonus and a full benefits package. The exact base salary will vary based on experience and skills brought to the role.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday with a 3:30 am start time.
