Delivery Manager - Panama City

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor the delivery drivers to ensure timely deliveries, proper rotation, merchandising, customer service, safe driving and vehicle maintenance
• Conduct on-the job training for all delivery drivers and helpers to ensure the professionalism and consistent performance from the team
• Ensure that all account receivables are collected according to company policies
• Conduct periodic work-withs to observe, critique, and improve delivery performance
• Have a working knowledge of all delivery routes and if necessary, fill-in during sick and vacation time
• Affirm compliance with DOT policies (Daily Truck Reports, Current DOT Cards)
• Assist in recruiting and interviewing of prospective employees

Qualifications

• Beverage Industry Management preferred
• Must be able to maintain a Class A CDL
• Able to motivate a team of designated delivery drivers
• Work cohesively across multiple departments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to manage others efficiently and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
