What Success Looks Like In This Role
The Delivery Analyst supports the successful execution of client-facing projects and services for a public sector client by handling the technical and coordination fundamentals of delivery — application monitoring, documentation, issue tracking, and meeting support.
This is a developmental role: the person will be trained on our managed applications, delivery processes, and client environment, with growth toward more independent delivery responsibilities over time.
- Works under the guidance of a delivery/project lead; does not independently manage budgets, staffing, or client escalations.
Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains a working understanding of the team's managed applications, including how they're configured, supported, and used by the client.
- Reviews application data and logs to help assess system health and flag anomalies for the project lead.
- Maintains the issues and action items list for applications, tracking status and following up on open items.
- Aids in planning and scheduling application builds and deployments.
- Creates, updates, and maintains system requirements documentation.
- Helps organize and prepare for project and client meetings (agendas, notes, follow-ups); may attend as support to the project lead.
- Supports communication with the client and vendors by helping gather and document issues, questions, and requested changes.
- Documents and helps troubleshoot client-reported issues (e.g., performance or application issues), escalating appropriately.
- Supports preparation of status updates and reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborates with third-party providers/subcontractors on specific deliverables as directed.
What Success Looks Like Early On
- Ramps up on the client's application landscape and internal processes.
- Reliably tracks and documents issues without things falling through the cracks.
- Produces clear, accurate documentation and status updates.
- Buils trust as a dependable point of contact for routine, non-escalated communication.
You Will Be Successful In This Role If You Have
- BA/BS degree and 2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Comfortable learning technical systems and public sector client environments; prior IT/application support, business analysis, or project coordination experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple open items at once.
- Willingness to be trained and to work closely with a project/delivery lead as a mentor.
