Responsibilities

  • Deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise using a company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
  • Create and maintain records, including dispatching, confirming customer orders, and generating delivery manifests and receiving documents.
  • Sort, organize, and prepare merchandise from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas by part and quantity.
  • Ensure customer orders are located, picked up, and signed for.
  • Collect funds from customers when needed and maintain all necessary documents.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Eligible to work in the country of application.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) per company standards.
  • Must meet all applicable state/province-specific driver’s license requirements prior to driving a company vehicle.
  • Strong customer service skills with a demonstrated ability to go above and beyond.
  • Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Capability to challenge upwards with respectful pushback.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and gain knowledge about branch operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Commitment to driving safely and adhering to all company safety standards.
  • Proficiency in basic math skills.
  • Ability to use computers and handheld radio frequency devices.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with automotive parts.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to high places, fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The work environment is generally loud. Physical demands include:

  • Regularly standing, walking, using hands and fingers, reaching with arms, talking, and listening.
  • Frequently stooping, kneeling, crouching, and occasionally sitting, climbing, or balancing.
  • Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay

Posted salary range: USD $14.25 - USD $19.00 per hour.
