Delivery Driver/Warehouse

About the role

Worldpac, a leading name in automotive parts distribution, seeks a Delivery Driver/Warehouse team member to manage routes, handle deliveries, and perform receiving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise in a safe and courteous manner.
• Create and maintain records as needed.
• Dispatch, confirm customer orders, and generate delivery manifests and receiving documents.
• Sorts, organizes, and prepares merchandise from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas, by part and quantity.
• Ensure customer orders are located, picked up, and signed for.
• Collects funds from customers if needed and maintains all necessary documents.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school/secondary school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR per company standards.
• Meets all applicable state/province-specific driver’s license requirements before driving a company vehicle.
• Experience with great customer service and “going above and beyond”.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to operate safely and maintain a clean and neat work environment.
• Respectful pushback and willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, and use computers and handheld devices.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with automotive parts.

Physical/Work Environment

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
• Occasionally exposed to high places, fumes, or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Noise level in the work environment is generally high (loud).
• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, and listen.
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
