About the role
The primary responsibility of a Domino's Pizza Delivery Driver is to deliver orders to designated locations on time. Punctuality and honesty are essential qualities for applicants. Delivery Drivers should also be familiar with reading a basic road map. They are expected to ensure orders are delivered correctly and on time with courtesy. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the delivery vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Pre-delivery vehicle preparations
- Learning the delivery area
- Checking orders for quality and accuracy
- Providing quality customer service through positive and professional interactions with customers in person or by phone
- Food preparation and packaging
- Taking orders and collecting payments
- Cleaning and maintenance of the store and its equipment
- Rotating commissary deliveries
Requirements
- Attention to detail
- A sense of urgency
- Customer focus with strong initiative
- Cash management skills
- Age 18 or older
- Valid driver's license for the state where the team member works, licensed for at least two years
- Acceptable motor vehicle report with no more than two moving violations and one accident in the past year
- Insured and have a satisfactory vehicle
- Able to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise
- Willingness to learn and be cross-trained for other workstation duties as needed
Qualifications
- Trained and have a positive learning experience
- Minimum wage, reimbursement for miles driven ($.44 per mile), reimbursement for data usage, and credit card/cash tips paid to the driver from customers
