Delivery Driver / Shop Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a Delivery Driver / Shop Associate for S.A. Comunale. This position involves assisting in transporting materials and equipment to construction job sites, maintaining the shop and office areas, and performing various other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Verifies and secures loads.
• Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
• Drives truck to assigned destination(s) when needed.
• Assists workers in unloading and loading trucks when required.
• Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, fuses, etc. when needed.
• Maintains cleanliness for shop/warehouse, storage yard, parking lot as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness for office area consistently as needed.
• Delivers and picks up permit applications, permits, and approved drawings when needed.
• Restocks returned materials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of delivery driving or related work experience.
• Vocational or industry trade school is a plus.
• Possession of a current DOT Medical Card or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license with driving record meeting or exceeding Company standards.
• Previous experience operating a forklift.
• Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
• Average experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word and Excel) applications.
