Delivery Driver – Full Time

About the role
During the winter months, the candidate will load and deliver heating oil safely, adhering to company and government regulations. Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing daily walk-around vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness per DOT regulations.
During the summer months, responsibilities shift to loading and delivering furniture, assembling furniture when necessary, completing paperwork accurately, and other duties as requested by management. Safe driving is essential year-round.
Responsibilities
- Load and deliver heating oil safely during winter months
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform daily DOT-compliant inspections
- Load and deliver furniture during summer months
- Assemble furniture as needed
- Complete paperwork accurately
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Drive safely in all seasons
Requirements
- Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker Endorsement
- Clean driving record
- Current Medical Card
- Pass substance abuse screenings
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs
- Flexible working hours, including emergency service rotation
