Delivery Driver - Full Time

About the role

Delivery Driver responsible for transporting and delivering products safely and efficiently to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers
• Load and unload products
• Handle damaged goods and returns
• Complete paperwork accurately
• Ensure food safety and sanitary standards
• Develop good customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication
• Report route or equipment issues promptly
• Work outside regular schedules as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Preferred 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience or completion of a driving school
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of DOT regulations, safe lifting practices, and hazard handling
• Skills in long-distance driving, problem-solving, and customer communication
• Ability to operate various equipment and perform basic math

Physical & Work Environment

• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds
• Push/pull over 350 pounds
• Climb in/out of vehicles
• Work in varied weather conditions, including hot, cold, and humid environments
• Exposure to mechanical parts, fumes, and noise
