Delivery Driver

Position Summary

The Delivery Driver is responsible for checking all products for accuracy against quality standards and delivering products to the Joints in a safe, courteous, and timely fashion. The person in this role is expected to work as part of a team and support the restaurant by performing other workstation duties as needed.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Preparing the vehicle for delivery
• Ensuring the vehicle is sanitized according to restaurant standards
• Checking Commissary orders for quality and accuracy
• Following proper delivery procedures and providing quality customer service
• Acting with a sense of urgency so the Joints receive their food as quickly as possible
• Remaining familiar with the delivery area, traffic patterns and alternate routes
• Performing as an extension of the restaurant team by ensuring excellent customer service, professionalism and positivity
• Performing other assigned duties including making quality products, preparing ingredients and taking orders
• Assisting kitchen staff with closing tasks, as needed

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

• Ability to handle stress under pressure and in fast-paced situations
• Work well with others and collaborate as a member of a team
• Positive attitude
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation rules
• Must be 18 years of age and have a Chauffer driver’s license valid under the laws of the state(s) where the team member works, and an acceptable motor vehicle record

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear
• The employee frequently is required to stand
• The employee is frequently required to sit; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and hot liquids
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high
