Delivery Driver

The Delivery Driver position at WoodMaster Portable Buildings, a division of Tuff Shed, is based out of Cobden, IL. This role requires a Commercial Driver's License and involves delivering portable buildings to customers' locations or from the plant to retail lots. Key responsibilities include ensuring timely and proper delivery, maintaining customer relationships, and adhering to safety regulations.

Duties

• Delivers sheds to customers' locations or retail lots safely and efficiently.
• Ensures all deliveries are made on time and products are in perfect condition upon arrival.
• Establishes positive relationships with customers and communicates with them in real-time.
• Maintains clear, concise, and detailed communication with customers before each delivery.
• Communicates with customers to ensure they are at their residences upon arrival.
• Provides excellent customer service during delivery, including addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
• Properly places sheds and discards debris and packing materials appropriately.
• Assists in managing inventory at retail lots, loading and unloading products, and moving sheds and trailers.
• Complies with all safety regulations and performs regular checks on the delivery vehicle.
• Completes necessary pre and post-documentation for each delivery.
• Routinely relocates cargo, utility, and/or dump trailer from one location to another.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA and FMCSA regulations.

Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of safety regulations, traffic laws, and vehicle maintenance practices.
• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record meeting company and FMCSA/DOT safety standards.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to complete assigned tasks.
• Positive attitude with a can-do mentality and self-starter capability.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CDL driver, preferably in a retail, distribution, or logistics role.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record meeting company and FMCSA/DOT safety standards.
