Responsibilities
- Pick up and drop off automotive parts while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules.
- Ensure orders are properly fulfilled, satisfy customers, and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Review orders before and after delivery to confirm completeness, accuracy of charges, and customer satisfaction.
- Take and follow directions from dispatcher, adhere to assigned routes, follow time schedules, use route navigation apps, and know the area to deliver packages on time.
- Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles without disrupting operations at customer's place of business.
- Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and professionally handle complaints and concerns from customers.
- Absorb and comply with all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
- Accept payments, prepare reports, reconcile debt and credit, and collect all monies related to deliveries.
- Complete daily maintenance checks on company delivery vehicle and report any issues to manager.
- Assist with any and all other store/warehouse duties (stock, parts pulling, etc.) as assigned.
- Maintain and promote workplace safety.
- Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
Qualifications
- Current, valid driver’s license.
- Ability to meet company insurance requirements (must be 21 years old or over).
- Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
- Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, prolonged sitting (required for Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers to lift 75 lbs).
