Delivery Driver

About the role

The Delivery Driver position at Aaron’s is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in the sales and lease-to-own retail industry. This role offers a unique blend of indoor and outdoor responsibilities, including loading, securing, and protecting merchandise, offloading, installing, and demonstrating products, operating a delivery vehicle safely, and assisting in the store when needed.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and protect merchandise
• Offload, install, and demonstrate merchandise
• Safely operate delivery vehicle
• Afford assistance in the store when needed

Requirements

• Age: 21 (18 in Canada)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must meet DOT requirements for certification (U.S.)
• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs. without help and 300 lbs. with a dolly (training provided)
• Able to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain or summer sun
• Valid driver’s license required, but not a CDL

Pay

The salary range for this role is $14.75 to $15.50 per hour/annually. The actual pay may vary based on various factors including performance, qualifications, and business needs.

Delivery Drivers typically work a flexible schedule to accommodate the demands of the job, including shifts that may involve evening, weekend, and holiday work.
