PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for delivery and unloading of product merchandise within large volume stores. Duties include driving a truck to deliver to a variety of accounts which will be your responsibility to oversee. While at the account, duties include stocking shelves, rotating product, setting up displays, cooler stocking, product rotation, storage room organization, and the efficient movement of product from storage to the sales floor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive daily work request at start of each workday and have schedules signed off by account management (Store Representative).
- Execute delivery to all accounts as scheduled by Supervisor.
- Stock, rotate, and face product in coolers, on shelves, racks, and in displays.
- Review account instructions as provided by Supervisor or Sales Representatives.
- Communicate with appropriate Sales Representatives daily.
- Pull outdated, damaged, and unsellable products – place in back stock and notify Sales Representative.
- Set up and rotate sales promotion displays (including signage) according to store and Company standards.
- Absorb and display accurate information about Summit Beverage's organizational mission and goals.
- Complete other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Director of Delivery Operations.
QUALIFICATIONS and KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous delivery experience. Grocery/retail/beverage experience a plus.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, other governmental agencies, and the public as appropriate.
- Ability to manage own route and delegate effectively.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good customer service skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative and independently with good time management.
- Ability to handle wide range of tasks.

- Seeing: Must be able to read reports and use computer/table/office equipment. Must be able to read and interpret documentation. 75-100%
- Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with employees and business contacts. Must be aware of environment when driving. 75-100%
