Responsibilities

• Transport products safely and deliver office supplies on your assigned route to customers.
• Load your truck as needed, depending on volume.
• Ensure safe work practices and embrace and foster our safety culture.
• Organize and load product for delivery utilizing the manifest to assure the most efficient delivery route and schedule.
• Provide customer support, accept product returns, and resolve customer issues to make their day.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle, perform pre-trip vehicle inspections, and report any maintenance concerns.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a driving record indicating a safe driving history acceptable to the company; must remain eligible to drive a commercial motor vehicle under applicable laws and regulations.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen (No THC) to the extent legally permissible.
• Must obtain a 6-month DOT medical card specific to the role.
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
• Full-Time associates must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; additional overtime hours will be required based on business need.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, push and pull items weighing up to 400 lbs with the assistance of hand carts/material handling equipment, and occasionally maneuver up to 130 lbs.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Qualifications

• Basic: As listed in Requirements.
• Preferred:
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 1-year of truck driving experience (operating a 16 ft or longer straight truck) or comparable driving experience.
  • High volume package delivery experience.

• Safe and courteous driving in all weather and road conditions.
• Sound decision-making related to driving, parking, safety, and customer interactions.
• Inclusive approach to colleagues and customers to forge strong relationships and resolve issues.
• Proficiency with technology including GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery (POD) devices.
