Responsibilities
- Assist leadman/foreman in the fabrication shop.
- Drive shop trucks with a 10,000 lbs trailer.
- Complete/conduct Task Hazard Analysis (THA).
- Perform work independently with minimum supervision.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Absorb and perform cutting torch and welding activities (combo/structural—3G, 4G, etc.).
- Clean, lubricate, and maintain driving equipment.
- Complete pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with driving forklifts, scissor lifts, and side loader.
- Proven commitment to Safety.
- Work in an organized manner.
- Able to work night shifts when needed.
- Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds.
- Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
- Minimum age 18+.
- Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization.
- Proficient welding and cutting operations.
- Comfortable working in outside climate.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Previous experience with general labor and operating equipment.
- Identify common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools (hammer, shovel, measuring tape, hammer drill, saw, demolition hammer, cutting torch, grinders, etc.).
