Responsibilities
- Delivering countertops to customers in AL, FL, TN, KY, MS often requiring 1-2 overnights per week
- Delivering cabinets to customer locations throughout MI, OH, IN
- Ensuring all truck loads are safely and securely fastened according to FMCSA guidelines
- Maintaining a professional image by providing courteous service to customers
- Aiding in loading and unloading third-party truck shipments
- Staging/pulling orders for truck deliveries
- Accurately checking in merchandise shipments
- Putting away received stock into proper locations
- Helping rotate merchandise
- Storing and banding skids and other warehouse materials
Requirements
- Valid CDL B Driver’s License with Air Brake endorsement and a medical card
- Current understanding of FMCSA requirements and guidelines
- 3 years of previous delivery driving experience in similar capacity
- Able to lift up to 80 pounds regularly to carry countertops/cabinets up/downstairs
- Reliable and punctual with a good clean driving record
- Own reliable transportation to and from work
- Previous driving/warehouse/shipping & receiving experience a plus
