Delivery Driver

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver's License in state of residence with 3 years driving history.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record with no type A violation; or no more than (1) type B violation in past (3) years.
• A Department of Transportation physical exam will be conducted by a licensed medical examiner.
• Read, comprehend, write, perform calculations, input accurately, reason, and analyze.
• Function independently, completing various tasks accurately with close attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and Spanish is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent driving is required.
• Visits to customers will expose the individual to all types of weather conditions.
• Must be aware of each customer’s environment and adhere to the proper safety regulations since there will be occasional exposure to events such as excessive noise and moving machinery.
• Frequently walk, bend, squat, climb, and kneel.
• Occasionally push, pull, and reach.
• Regular handling of objects and lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
• Physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle in accordance with the medical qualification standards in Sec. 391.41; This is a safety sensitive position, the ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative.
