Delivery Driver

About the role

This position involves transporting materials over designated routes, providing excellent customer service, and performing warehouse functions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of vehicles and provide prompt, courteous deliveries.
• Verify material accuracy based on Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest upon loading and unloading.
• Perform daily inspections of the vehicle to maintain its general condition and safety.
• Handle receiving, storing, shipping, and preparing products for delivery, maintaining an orderly warehouse.
• Operate a commercial motor vehicle with a GVWR of 10,001 lbs. or greater, adhering to safety regulations and customer safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Android or iOS operating systems.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence, with at least three (3) years of driving history.
• A satisfactory MVR with no recent violations.
• One (1) year of experience operating a commercial motor vehicle with a GVWR of 10,001 lbs. or greater within the last 36 months.
• Strong skills in reading, writing, calculations, data entry, reasoning, and analysis.
• The ability to work independently and manage tasks accurately and with attention to detail in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Physical requirements to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
• Frequent walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, and handling/lifting up to 50 pounds.

Skills
