Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Transport materials over designated routes safely.
• Provide prompt and courteous deliveries of orders.
• Ensure materials on the truck match the Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest.
• Secure materials for safe transport from store to destination.
• Unload materials at each delivery location in an orderly fashion.
• Verify materials on the Ship Ticket at each delivery location.
• Perform daily inspections of the vehicle for general maintenance and safety.
• Maintain the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Android or iOS operating systems.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence, minimum of three (3) years of driving history.
• Satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) with no Type A violations or speeding violations exceeding 15 mph over the limit within the past three (3) years, and no more than one (1) Type B violation in the same time frame.
• One (1) year of experience operating a commercial motor vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 10,001 lbs. or greater within the last 36 months.
• Strong skills in reading, writing, performing basic calculations, data entry, reasoning, and analysis.
• The ability to work independently while managing a variety of tasks accurately and with attention to detail in a team-oriented environment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking, bending, squatting, climbing, and kneeling.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Frequent handling and lifting of objects up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
