Delivery Driver

About the role

This position involves transporting materials over designated routes, providing excellent customer service, and performing warehouse functions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of vehicles and provide prompt, courteous deliveries.
• Verify material accuracy based on Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest upon loading and unloading.
• Perform daily inspections of the vehicle to maintain its general maintenance and safety.
• Manage receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for customer delivery.
• Maintain the warehouse in an orderly fashion.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Android or iOS operating systems.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence, with at least three (3) years of driving history.
• A satisfactory MVR, with no Type A violations within the past seven years; no speeding violations of 15+ mph over the limit within the past three years; or more than one (1) Type B violations within the past three years.
• One (1) year of experience operating a commercial motor vehicle with a GVWR of 10,001 lbs. or greater within the last 36 months.
• Strong skills in reading, writing, performing basic calculations, data entry, reasoning, and analysis.
• The ability to work independently while managing tasks accurately and with attention to detail in a team-oriented environment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking, bending, squatting, climbing, and kneeling.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Handling and lifting of objects up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
