Delivery Driver

About the role

This position involves transporting materials over designated routes, providing excellent customer service, and performing warehouse functions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of vehicles and provide prompt, courteous deliveries.
• Verify material accuracy based on Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest upon loading and unloading.
• Perform daily inspections of the vehicle to maintain its general maintenance and safety.
• Handle, store, ship, and prepare products for customer delivery in an orderly manner.
• Maintain the warehouse in an organized fashion.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Android or iOS operating systems.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence with at least 3 years of driving history.
• A satisfactory MVR with no Type A violations within the past 7 years, no speeding violations of 15+ mph over the limit within the past 3 years, and no more than one Type B violations within the past 3 years.
• One year of experience operating a commercial motor vehicle with a GVWR of 10,001 lbs. or greater within the last 36 months.
• Strong skills in reading, writing, basic calculations, data entry, reasoning, and analysis.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks accurately with attention to detail in a team-oriented environment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking, bending, squatting, climbing, and kneeling.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Handling and lifting of objects up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
