Responsibilities
- Transport materials over designated routes safely.
- Provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders.
- Ensure materials loaded on the truck match the Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest and are securely fastened for transport.
- Unload materials at each delivery location in an organized manner, verifying the correct items based on the Ship Ticket.
- Perform daily inspections of the vehicle to maintain general maintenance and safety.
- Handle receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for customer delivery, keeping the warehouse organized.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid Driver's License in state of residence with 3 years driving history.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record with no type A violations; or no more than 1 type B violation in the past 3 years.
- A minimum of 1 year of driving experience within the past 36 months, operating a commercial motor vehicle with a GVWR of 10,001 lbs. or more preferred.
- Read, comprehend, write, perform calculations, input accurately, reason, and analyze.
- Function independently, completing various tasks with close attention to detail.
Qualifications

- Frequent driving is required in all types of weather conditions.
- Must adhere to proper safety regulations due to occasional exposure to events such as excessive noise and moving machinery.
- Frequently walk, bend, squat, climb, kneel, push, pull, and reach.
- Regularly handle objects and lift up to 75 pounds.
- Physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle by the medical qualification standards in Sec. 391.41.
