About the role
Domino's Pizza is currently seeking qualified drivers to staff stores in various locations. The company is expanding rapidly, offering numerous growth opportunities, including management positions and franchise ownership.
Job requirements and duties
- Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes.
- Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within designated delivery areas.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.

Qualifications
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Orientation and training provided on the job.
- Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers, both over the phone and in person.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Make correct monetary change.
- Use motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements with speed.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work conditions
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions during deliveries.
- In-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in cooler areas to 90 degrees and above in warmer areas.
- Sudden changes in temperature in work areas and while outside.
- Exposure to fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools from ovens, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
- Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Physical demands
- Standing for most tasks.
- Walking for short distances for short durations.
- Sitting at a desk or table for paperwork.
- Lifting bulk product deliveries twice a week, up to 50 pounds.
- Carrying trays of pizza dough, weighing approximately 12 pounds per tray.
- Pushing trays on dollies, requiring a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push.
- Pulling trays on dollies.
- Climbing stairs or ladders occasionally.
Driving specific job duties
- Deliver product by car and then to the customer's door.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
